I am currently the Technology Commercialization Manager for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce. In this role, I am the liaison between NOAA's technology developers and inventors and industry. I also assist with the protection of intellectual property, negotiate licensing agreements with industry, and establish cooperative research and development agreements between NOAA labs/science centers and the private sector, academia, and state/local governments.
I have over 30 years' experience working for the U.S. Department of Commerce in Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property Management, Cooperative Agreements, International Trade, Communications, Website Content Management, Event Planning and Coordination, IT Project Management and Requirements, and Scientific Program and Portfolio Management.
Bachelor's Degree in International Affairs and Italian
Associates Degree in Project Management
Completed Sommelier training (Levels 1-3) through the Associazione Italiana di Sommelier (AIS)
